Job Description

Exploration & Geological Evaluation

Participate in exploration and grade sampling activities for Marang and other areas, collaborating with geologists to analyze chemical and physical properties and prepare preliminary geological evaluation reports.

Mine Planning & Design

Contribute to the preparation of short-term and long-term mine plans, including pit design, block planning, haulage calculations, costing, and access development in line with suitable mining methods.

Operations Monitoring & Reporting

Oversee daily mining operations--covering dredging (wet mining), excavation, and haulage (dry mining)--and prepare comprehensive daily and monthly mining activity reports.

Quality & Contractor Management

Monitor the quality of ROM material from site to stockpile to ensure it meets plant specifications, and address any operational or performance issues involving mining contractors.

Safety, Environmental & Regulatory Compliance

Enforce safety and environmental standards at the mining site, and assist the Mine Manager in ensuring compliance with government regulations under the Mineral Development Act (MDA) and State Mineral Enactment (SME).

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mineral Resource/ Mining Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification or competency in mining operations is an added advantage. Minimum

1-4 years of working experience

in mining operations, mine planning, or exploration activities. Experience in both

wet and dry mining operations

is preferred. Proficient in

mine design and planning software

. Strong understanding of

geological interpretation

. Knowledge of

. Knowledge with the

skills to coordinate with contractors, geologists, and other stakeholders. Able to work

independently under pressure

and meet operational deadlines. Willing to

travel or relocate

to mine sites as required. Possess a

valid driving license

and able to work in remote areas.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
