Job Description
Essential Functions:
As customer quality inspector at the iRobot contract manufacturer (CM) factory, conduct Pre-shipment inspection for each order.
Co-work with CM QA/iRobot planner/Manufacturing Quality team (MQ) to plan pre-shipment inspection priority to screen potential quality defect, and avoid the shipping delay.
Generate the inspection report at daily base.
Support iRobot MQ team for the NPI quality check and generate the NPI report.
Real time feedback quality issue/finding to CM for containment, root cause study, correction, and continuous improvement.
Real time report to iRobot MQ for major and critical defects/findings to take quick response and drive correction quickly.
Create eCAR to CM per alignment with iRobot MQ, for the Major issue/batch issue detected by PSA inspection.
Support iRobot MQ team quality for specific quality initiative as required.
Qualifications:
College degree or above, major in electronics/electrical is preferred
Good English writing
Good skills to use excel/word/power point etc. office software
Self- motivated; work independently, and teamwork ability
Good interpersonal communication skills with CM front line and iRobot team
Inspection experience in EMS industry and consuming electronics product is preferred.
