The Role & Team:

Reporting to our Regional Senior Finance Manager the Junior Accountant will support the finance team by handling various financial tasks such as preparing monthly financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate should possess a basic understanding of financial principles and demonstrate a keen eye for detail and accuracy

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Data Entry and Record-Keeping:

Input financial data into accounting software and maintain up-to-date financial records.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Assist in maintaining proper filing of financial documentation and ensuring they are easily accessible for audits and reporting. * Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process and track invoices, payments, and expenses.
Verify, allocate, and post transactions to appropriate accounts.
Assist in reconciling accounts payable and receivable. * Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing monthly reports, and annual financial statements. * Bank Reconciliations:
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal records.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. * Tax and Compliance:
Assist in the preparation and filing of taxes (e.g., VAT, income tax).
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
Assist during internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and explanations. * Treasury Support:
Reconciling the daily cash flow transactions and preparing daily cash flow report. * General Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Assist with special projects and financial initiatives as directed by management as needed
Profile
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Good time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a finance-related role or internship.
Familiarity with financial analysis and budgeting processes.
Understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
Working Conditions:
Flexible working hours.
May require occasional overtime during month-end or year-end reporting periods.
