About the Role: As a Junior Art Director, you will be one of the creative masterminds to plan and executive creative projects. This role involves collaborating with the marketing team, leading creative conceptualization, overseeing team members, and time allocation, all while delivering creative outputs that adhere to KCS\'s standards. Responsibilities: Conceptualize and solve business challenges presented by clients. Emphasise the importance of the main concept and ensure that designs align with the client\'s brand. Understand marketing objectives and effectively convey messages through design. Generate multiple creative concepts for new projects. Execute ideas meticulously, focusing on design, layout, and typography. Contribute to presenting and refining creative products to clients at the highest standard. Engage with clients and account management to grasp their business strategy and competitive landscape. Interpret communication strategies through creative briefs and collaborate with copywriters on innovative ideas. Develop design drafts for teams and clients across various communication channels. Lead visual execution and ensure quality control throughout the process. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Fine Arts or a related field, or equivalent experience in commercial arts. 2-3 years of experience as a Senior Designer / Junior Art Director. Fluency in English and proficiency in either Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese. Ability to oversee production across various media platforms. Understanding of branding, product design, digital media, and user interaction. Proficiency in executing concepts to a high visual standard for client presentations. Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines. Experience in directing creative teams, photographers, and third-party creative collaborators. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other departments. A portfolio showcasing relevant work is required for this position.
