Job Summary

The Junior Barista is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing high-quality beverages and food items, and maintaining a clean and efficient store environment. This role involves taking customer orders, handling the coffee machine, serving food and drinks, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at all times. Take orders accurately and offer menu recommendations when needed. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

Barista Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages following company recipes and standards. Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other cafe equipment safely. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all bar equipment and workstations. Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrup, and other bar supplies; notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.

Service Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to company procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counter, and kitchen. Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing supplies and inventory. Ensure all items are properly labelled and stored according to food safety guidelines.

Cashiering

Handle cash, credit, and e-wallet transactions accurately. Issue receipts and ensure correct change is given. Follow cash-handling procedures and maintain cashier accuracy.

Store Maintenance

Maintain overall cleanliness of the store, including dining area, bar, kitchen, and restrooms. Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., handling food properly, sanitizing equipment).

Requirements

Diploma or equivalent. Experience as a barista or service crew is an advantage (training provided). Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Team player with a positive attitude.

Pay: RM2,200.00 per month
