Role Responsibilities Strategy

• The Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Cloud-Value Strategy paves the way to modernisation and consolidating IT infrastructure, workload automation, and pursue next-generation innovative solutions.
• The Cloud Engineer
• Has knowledge in the design, development, and implementation of data modelling and applied sciences.
• Is responsible for identifying and selecting appropriate cloud services to design and deploy an application based on given business requirements
• Is skilled in developing, deploying and debugging data modelling, python scripting and data applying data sciences methodology.

Business

• Design, code and maintain python programming in applying data sciences methodology.
• Able to provide and apply statistical methodology in data analysis and provide insights for decision making process.
• Work across the transformation team for applying and gathering data science requirements and implementing python programming in R or PySpark etc.
• Participate in all aspects of the infrastructure code development life cycle for AWS and/or Azure solutions, including but not limited to working with the CIO DevOps team to automate application deployments.

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key Stakeholders

• CIO application teams, Central Infrastructure teams, Cloud & DevOps teams.

Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any relevant field of study.
• Expertise in at least one high-level programming language.
• R, Python and statistical analysis programming language is preferred.
• Skills in API usage, command-line interface and Software Development Kits (SDKs) for writing applications is desirable
• Understanding of DevOps, source code version control management and related git operations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team, and individually with minimal supervision.
• Hands on experience in the use of cloud solutions on AWS and/or Azure platforms is an added Advantage.
• Certification for AWS or Azure is added Advantage.
