The

Junior Engineer

assists in the planning, design, coordination, and supervision of engineering projects. This role provides technical support to senior engineers, contributes to project documentation, and ensures all tasks comply with company standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
The position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop technical and project management skills in a professional engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Support & Implementation

Assist in the design, planning, and execution of engineering projects. Prepare and update drawings, plans, and technical documents under supervision. Conduct site visits to collect data, take measurements, and monitor progress. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for project requirements. Support in preparing project schedules, material lists, and reports.
Technical & Quality Assurance

Ensure work complies with design specifications and safety standards. Assist in resolving technical issues encountered during site operations. Perform testing, inspection, and documentation as guided by senior engineers. Participate in quality control checks and ensure compliance with project procedures.
Cost & Documentation

Assist in preparing cost estimates, tender documents, and bill of quantities (BOQ). Help in evaluating material specifications and supplier quotations. Maintain proper filing and documentation of all project records.
Team Coordination

Support communication and coordination between project teams and site staff. Attend internal and external project meetings as required. Collaborate closely with senior engineers to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (depending on specialization). 0-2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply). Basic understanding of project workflow, construction methods, and engineering principles. Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and basic project management software. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Willing to learn, detail-oriented, and able to work under supervision.
