Junior Java Developer
Job Description
Assist in developing and maintaining Java backend applications using Spring and Spring Boot
Support the development of RESTful APIs under the guidance of senior developers
Participate in building and maintaining microservices using Spring Cloud
Work with MyBatis to perform basic database operations (CRUD)
Write clean, readable, and maintainable code following coding standards
Assist in debugging, fixing bugs, and resolving basic production issues
Write unit tests and support integration testing
Learn and apply concepts such as service discovery, configuration management, and API gateways
Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior team members
Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and team members
Maintain basic technical documentation
Follow software development processes and best practices
Requirements:
Min 1 years of Java development experience and a solid foundation in Java. Have a clear understanding of object-oriented software development concepts, master common design patterns, and prior experience in researching open-source code is preferred.
Proficiency in frameworks such as Spring Boot, MyBatis, and Spring, as well as Spring Cloud microservice technologies.
Skilled in application development using PGSQL, and familiar with database principles and common performance optimization techniques. Proficiency in common Linux commands and frequently used shell scripts.Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
