About the role

Join Padini Holdings Berhad as a Junior Merchandiser (Fashion Design). In this full-time role, you will be an integral part of the fashion design and merchandising team, contributing to the development and delivery of the company's latest fashion collections.

What you'll be doing

Assist in the creation and implementation of seasonal fashion collections Collaborate with the design team to understand and interpret the latest fashion trends Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and customer preferences Analyse sales data and customer feedback to inform future product development Participate in product costing, pricing and planning to ensure profitability Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery of products Support the merchandising team in stock management and inventory control

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design or a related field 1-2 years of experience in a fashion merchandising or product development role Strong understanding of current fashion trends and consumer behaviour Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite Excellent communication and collaboration skills Attention to detail and a passion for the fashion industry
