Job Description

The Junior Physiotherapist supports the delivery of physiotherapy services under the supervision and guidance of a Senior Physiotherapist or Clinical Lead. The role involves conducting patient assessments, assisting in treatment delivery, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining high standards of clinical care and professionalism.

Clinical Duties

Conduct basic physiotherapy assessments and assist in developing treatment plans. Deliver prescribed physiotherapy interventions such as exercise therapy, electrotherapy, and manual techniques under supervision. Support patient rehabilitation programs and track progress regularly. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and reports. Ensure treatment areas and equipment are clean, organized, and in good working condition.

Patient Care & Communication

Provide guidance and education to patients on exercises, posture correction, and preventive care. Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, caregivers, and colleagues. Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout treatment sessions.

Team Support

Work collaboratively with other physiotherapists and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care. Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and clinical training sessions. Assist senior staff in outreach, wellness, or promotional activities when required.

Professional Development

Participate actively in continuing professional development (CPD) activities. Keep up to date with current physiotherapy practices, techniques, and technologies. Seek feedback and supervision for continuous learning and skill enhancement.

Requirements:

Education & Certification

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution. Eligible for registration with the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA

)

or equivalent professional body.

Experience

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Internship or previous exposure in clinical, rehabilitation, or wellness settings is an advantage.
