Job Description

We are looking for a

Junior QA Engineer (Automation)

to join our team. You will support the development and execution of test automation for our applications using

Katalon Studio

and other tools. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with 0-2 years of experience who are eager to grow their skills in software quality assurance and automation.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using

Katalon Studio

. Design and execute test cases for web and API applications. Assist in creating and maintaining regression and smoke test suites. Perform functional and integration testing to ensure software quality. Log, track, and report issues using Jira or other tracking systems. Collaborate with developers and QA leads to reproduce and resolve bugs. Support continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field. 0-2 years experience in software testing (manual or automation). Fresh graduates are welcome. Familiarity with

Katalon Studio

or other automation tools (Selenium, Appium) is an advantage. Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and APIs. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Team player, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Preferred Skills (Optional but a Plus)

Experience with Jira or other issue tracking systems. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). ISTQB certification (Foundation Level) is a bonus.
