JOB DESCRIPTION
The Junior Software Developer at RP Info is in charge of developing, maintaining and fixing minor issues and changes in proprietary software and mobile/web-based applications to meet the needs of our customers.

This position entails involvement in new program/software development as well as adaptation activities on existing software to facilitate implementation in a customer\'s specific environment.

Peer review exists at this level including code and design review. Fresh graduates with interest in Programming are certainly welcomed and encouraged to apply for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test, maintain and fix front-end/back-end application features issues using customer business use cases.
• Participate in the new application development life cycle, including technical design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and support.
• Research and explore new technologies in line with the software strategy and development direction.
• Work closely with the customer to understand their business requirements and solve the identified business problems with a focus on delivering results.
• Provide basic IT support to the customer, such as printing service setup, office software tool installation, etc., which is mostly implementable through remote access.

JOB QUALIFICATION

• Diploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of software design and development experience/familiarity with either one of the required skills listed below.
• Fresh graduates (Optimal 1 year) are welcomed and encouraged to apply.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Interest or experience in mobile/web-based application development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java.
• Interest or experience in back-end application development with PHP, MySQL.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux basic command usage.
• Familiarity with using software tools, libraries, and frameworks like Git, jQuery, Bootstrap, jQWidgets, etc. will be an added advantage.
