Key Account Assistant Manager (wholesale Retail)

Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Assist in managing key wholesale accounts, ensuring strong relationships and high levels of satisfaction.
  • Sales Planning: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targeted sales and distribution objectives within the assigned accounts.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with key accounts to maximize profitability and market presence.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify opportunities and trends in the sports retail industry.
  • Product Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and proposals to key accounts.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to key accounts.
  • Promotional Activities: Plan and execute promotional activities and marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Reporting: Generate regular sales reports and forecasts to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies and achieve business goals.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service and support to key accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in key account management, preferably within the sports retail or related industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the sports retail industry, including market trends, competitor analysis, and customer behavior.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record in sales, with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using sales and inventory management software.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet with key accounts and attend industry events.
