Possess at least Diploma/ Advanced Diploma/ Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Relevant experience working with toddlers, preferably in a preschool or childcare setting.
Proficiency in spoken and written mandarin, with the ability to teach basic language skills effectively.
Knowledge of child development theories, best practices in early childhood education, and language acquisition principles.
Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with parents, guardians, and other teachers.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children.
Basic computer skills for maintaining records and documentation.
PR and First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that focus on social, emotional, cognitive, physical development, and Mandarin language acquisition for students.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and discovery, with an emphasis on fostering an early interest in the Mandarin language and culture.
Use positive discipline techniques to promote good behavior, respect, and a positive attitude toward language learning among children.
Observe and assess children\'s behavior, development, and language learning, providing constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
Work closely with parents, guardians, and other teachers to support each child\'s individual needs and interests.
Maintain accurate records of each child\'s progress, including attendance, development, language acquisition, and milestones.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other meetings to discuss children\'s overall progress, development, and language proficiency.
Keep the classroom clean, organized, and well-stocked with appropriate supplies and materials.
Attend professional development workshops and conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest research, techniques, and trends in early childhood education and language instruction.
