Job Summary:

The kitchen helper/dishwasher is responsible for assisting the kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a sanitary work environment. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Dishwashing and Cleaning:

Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing machines or by hand. Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area. Sweep and mop kitchen floors. Empty trash and recycling bins. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and surfaces.

Food Preparation Assistance:

Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables, washing produce, and portioning ingredients. Stock and organize kitchen supplies. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Maintain organized storage of food, and kitchen equipment.

General Kitchen Support:

Assist cooks and other kitchen staff as needed. Follow all health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Properly store all cleaning supplies.

Qualifications:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to follow instructions. Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
