Responsibilities
1. Food Preparation Support
Assist chefs in basic food preparation tasks.
Wash, peel, cut, and portion ingredients for daily production.
Prepare raw materials for catering orders, buffet setups, and event menus.
Follow proper food handling practices and recipe requirements.
2. Kitchen Cleanliness & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, utensils, and work areas at all times.
Wash dishes, trays, and tools used during preparation.
Dispose of waste properly and ensure kitchen hygiene standards comply with HALAL and food safety requirements.
Assist in cleaning chillers, freezers, and storage areas as needed.
3. Operational Support
Assist in packing, labeling, and arranging food items for catering events.
Help with loading and unloading food trays, containers, and equipment.
Ensure ingredients and materials are properly stored using FIFO.
Support chefs and the kitchen team during peak periods or urgent orders.
Requirements
No experience required -- training will be provided.
Hardworking, disciplined, and willing to learn.
Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
Able to work early mornings, weekends, and event days when necessary.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
