1. Food Preparation Support
Assist chefs and cooks in basic food preparation
Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients as instructed
Measure and organize ingredients for cooking
Ensure food preparation follows hygiene and safety standards
2. Kitchen Cleanliness & Hygiene
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, sinks, and storage areas
Dispose of waste properly according to SOP
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
3. Dishwashing & Equipment Handling
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
Store clean equipment in proper locations
Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely
4. Stock Handling & Storage
Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies
Ensure proper storage of ingredients (FIFO method)
Report low stock or damaged items to supervisor
5. Kitchen Operations Support
Support kitchen operations during peak hours
Assist in food plating or packing when required
Follow instructions from Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor
6. Safety & SOP Compliance
Follow kitchen SOP and safety procedures
Use protective equipment where required
Report accidents, injuries, or equipment faults immediately
