Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

o

Manage a team of experienced personnel in roles like business analytics and web development.

o

You will work in a player/coach role - leading and participating in web development, business analytics, cloud native technologies, automation, and security.

o

Innovate on existing tools or provide new solutions for problems that this team is responsible for.

o

Enhance existing tools and build new tools and platforms for managed services.

o

Manage Quantum support tools, websites and platforms.

o

Perform necessary updates to customer facing tools and web pages for release documents, firmware/software releases, new product information and ongoing support updates.

o

Review and update server security (SSL) and perform ongoing maintenance and updates as needed.

o

Analyze and solve internal and external stakeholder concerns as it relates to web-based tools.

o

Collaborate with the Service Technology & Business Systems team to develop KPIs and new tool metrics.

o

Troubleshoot/root cause business critical issues and produce solutions in a timely manner with regular updates communicated to key stakeholders.

o

Monitor all applications and web traffic.

o

Develop, design, or update reports that manage and measure our business processes.

o

Work closely with cross functional teams to examine existing business models, data flow design, and reporting structures to create innovative solutions to complex problems.

o

Measure, evaluate, and monitor system performance and implemented changes.

o

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and/or Experience:

o

12+ years of software development life cycle (SDLC) and web development experience, preferably working in a customer service department.

o

6+ years of leadership experience managing a team of experienced personnel.

o

Bachelor's degree in, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

o

Experience with the following:

o

API driven design and development using REST APIs

o

Web protocols like HTTP, HTTP/2, RPC and gRPC

o

Serialization formats: XML, JSON, protobuf

o

Familiarity with backend development (PHP, Python, Java, Go/Golang)

o

Front end development (HTML, javascript, CSS)

o

Javascript frameworks (Vue.js, React)

o

SQL databases (any: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle)

o

Cloud native development, Microservices architecture

o

Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

o

Git (Version Control System)

o

Linux

o

Preferred experience:

o

Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) - Large Language Models (LLMs)

o

Web servers (Apache web server, Nginx, Microsoft IIS)

o

NoSQL databases (Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, MongoDB)

o

Message queues (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka)

o

CI/CD (have experience with and a mindset towards automation)

o

Terraform, Ansible

o

DevOps and GitOps

o

Monitoring (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Tracing)

o

Strong user experience (UX) skills and an eye for good UI design.

o

Knowledge of security best practices, infrastructure security, application security etc. including authentication and authorization.

o

Experience with and comfortable with working in an Agile development environment.

o

Strong organizational and strategic management skills including business planning and forecasting, coaching, team building, and conflict resolution.

o

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, maintain, and influence relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

o

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

o

Superb written and verbal English communication skills.

Pay: RM13,000.00 - RM17,000.00 per month
