Ideal Candidate Requirements

Qualification

? Candidate must possess at least a higher Dip or Degree in Computer Science / Information

Technology / Engineering / telecommunications network or equivalent.

? VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) (preferred)

? Nutanix Certified Associate (preferred)

? Cisco Certified Network Associate (Data Center) (preferred)

? Microsoft Certified Professional (preferred)

? Good communication and interpersonal skills.

? 5 or more years of experience on Microsoft Windows Operating System, VMware vSphere, and

Nutanix - Design, Deployment and maintenance

Competencies

? Server Hardware OS Installation and troubleshoot (Rack Mount Servers, Local RAID Setup, Firmware

upgrades, Blade Server Concept, Parts Replacement)

? Server OS troubleshoot (Memory Dump, Network Trace, Performance Counters)

? Windows Server OS Maintenance (OS clean up, Windows Updates and Patches)

? Operation System Installation and configuration (Windows Cluster Setup, Internet Information

Services, Remote Desktop Services)

? Intermedium knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (User Creation, GPO settings, DNS,)

? Operation System Performance Monitoring (CPU, Memory, Disk)

? Operation system Security controls

? Knowledge of Network Concepts (DNS, DHCP, Routing, IP, Load balancing, VLAN)

? Basic Network troubleshot Skills (Ip Settings, Route Table, Network Package Capture)

? Servers Virtualization Concepts (Virtual Machines, Hypervisor)

? Servers Virtualization knowledge (Create VMS, Perform Snapshot, Change Virtual Machines Settings,

Perform P2V migration)

? Storage Concepts (RAID, Storage Controllers, HBA Cards)

? Experience with Citrix XenApp server administration preferred

? Experience with Windows patching procedures (WSUS or SCCM)

? Experience with Symantec Anti-Virus/McAfee preferred
