JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: The Sales Specialist, reporting to Head of Sales, is responsible for business development, selling lab services to potential clients and achieve company annual sales goals (NPAT). \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyzes existing and potential customer requirements and promotes consideration and purchase of DCH lab services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Initiates and develops contacts with customers, both existing and potential, with focus on new sales opportunities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepares and delivers effective sales pitch / presentations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Achieves annual sales objectives as set forth by management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintains all aspects of the customer database and documents. \xe2\x80\xa2 Achieves and maintains a high level of competency in knowledge and positioning of products and services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepares an annual business plan and budget, with consideration of area focus and objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborates with QA manager in the development of value-added services/projects identified for program expansion. \xe2\x80\xa2 Additional duties as assigned by management. Skills & Capabilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication. \xe2\x80\xa2 Approachability, Positive Attitude, Outgoing Personality, Action & Result Oriented, Informing, Negotiating \xe2\x80\xa2 True understanding of the inner workings of food & beverages lab Qualifications Min Knowledge & Experience required for the position: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s degree (scientific or business discipline preferred). \xe2\x80\xa2 Prior sales or consulting experience or equivalent business experience from same industry \xe2\x80\xa2 Min. 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with food laboratory working environment, food tech/scientist or QA/QC background preferred Travel requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Peninsular Malaysia
