Job Description

Responsibilities:

Equipment and Calibration

Perform setup, operation, and routine maintenance of lab instruments and systems (oscilloscopes, power supplies, clock/pulse generator, etc.). Handle lab equipment calibration activities, including scheduling, tracking, and ensuring compliance with standards. Maintain equipment status, calibration records, and readiness logs.

Testing and Basic Setup Troubleshooting

Execute characterization procedures and validation plans as directed by engineers. Collect, and report test data with integrity and accuracy. Perform basic troubleshooting of boards, hardware, and systems to isolate setup issues. Support board-level tasks such as soldering, rework, and sample preparation.

Documentation

Maintain accurate test logs, equipment usage records, and experiment results. Provide constructive feedback to engineers for validation process improvement and test automation.

Lab and Project Support

Build, wire, and configure setups for experiments, validation, and characterization. Manage consumables, tools, and lab inventory to ensure smooth project execution. Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects.

Requirements:

Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field. Candidates with SPM/STPM and strong practical experience or interest are encouraged to apply. Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.). Basic knowledge of PCB handling, soldering, and electronic measurements. Ability to read and understand schematics, datasheets, and basic test instructions. Strong attention to detail and good documentation practices. Willingness to work in lab/production environments and handle multiple tasks in parallel. Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Previous experience supporting engineering teams in test/validation activities will be added values.
