LAND SURVEYOR

Location : Alor Setar

Job Summary:

As a Land Surveyor, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing land surveying projects from inception to completion. This position requires extensive experience in land surveying, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team. The Land Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of surveying operations, providing technical expertise, and maintaining high-quality standards in survey deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

Oversee and manage land surveying projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between surveying, engineering, and other relevant departments.
2. Surveying Operations:

Conduct and supervise field surveys using the latest surveying equipment and technology. Ensure the accuracy and precision of survey data, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking. Review and interpret survey data; and prepare reports.
3. Technical Expertise:

Stay abreast of industry best practices in land surveying. Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy of survey results.
4. Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to land surveying.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Bridgework. Preferably local candidate(s). Proficiency in industry-standard surveying software and equipment. Strong understanding of land surveying principles, legal requirements, and industry standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month
