Job Requirement

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Machining, or related field.

Proven experience (2-5 years) as a lathe machine operator or machinist.

Strong knowledge of lathe machine operation, tooling, and machining principles.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibility

Set up and operate manual and/or lathe machines to produce precision parts.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feeds for machining operations.

Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.

Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.

Ensure that safety protocols and operational procedures are strictly followed.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize processes and solve machining problems.

Document production records and maintain accurate job logs.

Assist in training junior machinists and operators as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
