https://go2.cisco.com/vdcWhat You\'ll DoYou will lead a team of Lead Development Representatives (LDRs) responsible for responding to customer inquiries from various channels. The LDR Team is accountable to qualify all inbound leads (calls, chats, forms and other demand for non-target accounts). They qualify the leads for Need and Urgency and works closely with Business Development Reps to transfer the qualified lead.\xe2\x80\x8bAs the LDR Manager, you will be responsible for achieving key strategic objectives including quarterly and annual pipeline goals, and preparing your team to excel in their role at Cisco. You will build strong relationships across your regional teams, the broader Virtual Demand Center and Marketing, working seamlessly in a matrixed environment.Continuous Learning\xc2\xb7 Evolution of offers requires ongoing training, both for you and your team. Participate, host, and drive training engagement of your team to further expand you, and your teams, knowledge and skill set around Cisco\'s products and solutions.\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market and technology\xc2\xb7 Conduct regular sessions to gauge knowledge of the team on the market and technology.\xc2\xb7 Help LDRs build connection to other teams and stakeholders\xc2\xb7 Enable and reward LDRs for engaging with a mentor as well as acting as a mentor to further develop the LDRs expertiseBusiness Performance\xc2\xb7 Design and implement a strategic plan that enables you to meet/exceed your regional sales goal that is tied to Key Strategic Objectives (KSOs) which will be finalized and measured for execution each quarter.\xc2\xb7 Share best practices and learn from other LDR managers in other regions\xc2\xb7 Monitor and adjust your teams\' performance when things are not working and make adjustments to improve efficiency.\xc2\xb7 Present accurate and realistic Sales Plans to the management team\xc2\xb7 Identify conversion rates, trends, linearities, in order to build a forecasting methodology that drives business predictability.\xc2\xb7 Build a good workload balance among all team members considering the language capabilities and solution specializations.\xc2\xb7 Conduct regular one-on-one sessions to coach your sellers, review improvements, trends, and performanceFunnel Management\xc2\xb7 Responsible for monitoring the funnel and workload of the LDRs and look for new revenue sources and/or new ideas for LDRs to increase pipeline and conversions\xc2\xb7 Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition statusCross Functional Alignment\xc2\xb7 Build and maintain deep cross functional Cisco and external relationships for effective partnering and provide feedback into the global program\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the regional sales and marketing teams to position the Virtual Demand Center to deliver high impact and value\xc2\xb7 Bring feedback from customers and marketing and other stakeholders in terms of opportunities for the Virtual Demand center to build pipe and increase bookingsCoaching & Training\xc2\xb7 Own objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives\xc2\xb7 Actively participate in recruiting activities as needed\xc2\xb7 Continually help your sales team grow and keep them motivated and engaged\xc2\xb7 Create an award-winning working environment using the latest Cisco technology to enable and empower everyone on your team to perform to the very best of their abilities\xc2\xb7 Track individual and team performance to ensure that the team is delivering desired results. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
