Job Responsibilities:

• The process engineering position is to interface with the internal technical staff and customer to define improvement opportunities for PCBA quality.
• Responsible for equipment/tool utilization and downtime improvement efforts.
• Lead NPI (New Production Introduction) process development DoE and support, tooling preparation with NRE plan.
• Lead Process Qualification and Validation activities.
• Sites Selective wave soldering ownerships.
• Ensures manufacturability of products and ensures customer requirements are built into their product with right process control, SPC & PFMEA.
• Supports and improves existing manufacturing flow, systems, create and buyoff new process procedures.
• Develop assembly processes, work instructions, procedures and process control plans.
• Maintain and improve PTH process yield and defect.
• Selective wave program development, equipment recipe and parameter creation.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent)
• Familiar with PCBA assembly process.

• Prefer with Ersa Selective wave process, programming, profile setup and machine trouble shooting skills.

• Good SPC, DOE, PFMEA and communication skills
• Good exposure with Surface Mount Technology (SMT & PTH) assembly process is an added advantage
