• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of IT engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge in network management, software and hardware troubleshooting, and system security.
• Proven project management skills and experience leading technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and quick decision-making under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks; ITIL or PMP certifications are a plus.

What you\'ll be doing on the job

• Lead and manage a team of IT engineers, overseeing all technical operations, including system installations, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Manage service delivery which includes client engagement and resolution based upon the agreed SLA.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high standards of operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Coordinate with other IT and business departments to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and support the team in complex installations or when troubleshooting advanced technical issues.
• Manage projects from conception to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to the required quality standards.
• Monitor the performance of IT systems to determine cost and productivity levels.
• Mentor team members, providing career development planning and opportunities.
• Keep updated of new trends and innovations in technology, suggesting upgrades and modifications to enhance system performance.
