Our content moderation team uses ChatGPT and in-house ML models to evaluate and label user-generated content. This helps us to identify and remove harmful content, while also ensuring that high-quality content is promoted. As a backend ML engineer on our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to develop our machine learning models and the upstream systems that support them. You will also work closely with our product and business to ensure that our models are effective in detecting and removing harmful content. As a part of our team, you\'ll be creating value for our consumers and partners, and making a tangible difference across Southeast Asia Get to Know the Role As an ML engineer, you will be responsible for developing and integrating our machine learning models, as well as the infrastructure that supports the models for text, image, and video content for all of Grab\'s product families. You will also work closely with our business, product, and content moderators to ensure that our models are effective in labeling content and Grab stays compliant with local and global regulations. The Day-to-Day Activities: Offering technical leadership and experience in system design docs Design backend ML services with a focus on low latency, cost reduction, and scalability in Golang and Python. Design large-scale data systems, leveraging data modeling and machine learning algorithms to continuously optimize our content evaluation strategies. Collaborating with teams across Grab to ingest and evaluated user-generated content Engaging in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning, and optimization. The Must-Haves: Experience with developing or deploying ML models for categorization and labeling Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Python, Go, C++, Java, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and a strong willingness to communicate and coordinate with others from different cultures and language backgrounds. Self-motivated, fast learner, and great team player. The Nice-to-Haves Overseas study or work experience.
