Job Purpose: This position manage the rotating engineering group and is a leading member of the Engineering Team in SapuraOMV Project Department. Responsible for all rotating engineering deliverables and interfacing and management of all stakeholders to meet project objectives including Contractors, Suppliers, Consultants and providing support for procurement, construction, hook-up, commissioning, warranty, and operation activities. Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Participate actively in Company HSE programs and contribute freely to the achievement of the Company\'s HSE policies and objectives. Through personal commitment and involvement, contribute to the safe and environmentally responsible operations of the Company\'s day-to-day operations by complying with all policies and procedures and actively contributing to improvement through hazard and incident reporting and suggesting improvements. The Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer together with SapuraOMV engineering PMT and EPCIC\'s engineering Consultant will be responsible in delivering the Rotating equipment engineering design to the portfolio of SapuraOMV Project(s). Assuring that project objectives are successfully and timely delivered and that appropriate reviews have been conducted. The work deliverables as minimum include but not limited to the following: Process Design Calculations design input such as rotating equipment sizing, etc. Studies Reports design input such as Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) Study, Material Handling Study, Mechanical Layout, etc. Equipment Specifications and Data Sheets inter-disciplines design input. Rotating equipment input to Start-up, Shutdown & Operating Manual. Vendor Data Review and Incorporation. Reviewed, acceptance and sign-off of Contractors\' and Vendors\' Rotating Equipment deliverables. Management of Rotating equipment deliverables to the overall project quality, schedule, cost and HSSE performance by Contractors/Vendor through all project stages. Application of relevant Codes, Standards and acceptable industry practices. Manage Rotating equipment deviations and management of change (MOC). Interface and support other engineering disciplines. Active interface management with other teams, including subsurface, drilling, construction, hook-up & commissioning, and operations, and provide technical support as required. Participate and direct supervision direct involvement from onshore installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning, commissioning up to the offshore facilities start-up. Departmental: Plan, supervise and manage Rotating engineering team resources & activities including manpower resource planning, objectives setting, performance, reporting, procedures, codes & standards, and hardware & software upkeep. Project Pre-Development: Participate and involve in preparation of compressor selection and optimization study and Power Generation and Optimization study as well as design input of Mechanical design basis, concept select, feasibility / conceptual engineering, electrical load list, Mechanical layout & scheme, Mechanical handling study, equipment weight & cost estimate, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) of rotating equipment discipline and contributing to MR5 / FDP / OCS packs. Project Development (Pre-Award): Participate in the preparation of Tender Plan (TP), Invitation to Bid (ITB), Technical Bid Evaluation & Recommendation (TER) and ready for award preparatory works of Rotating Equipment Long Lead Items (LLI) packages and EPCIC Contract. Project Development (Post Award - LLI): Involve in TCCM, award and kick-off of Rotating Equipment LLI packages. Delivering a safe, reliable and functional rotating equipment with activities encompassing Vendor Data Review (VDR), Vendor Data Incorporation (VDI), site meetings / visits / inspections, ITP, progress monitoring & reporting, expediting, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Inspection Release Note (IRN), receiving at yard, system integration / test / pre-commissioning, Site Acceptance Test (SAT), punch-list clearance, final documentation, managing essential spares and first fill, coordinating training for operation, vendor field support, offshore commissioning and support during reliability period. Project Development (Post Award - EPCIC): Manage Detailed Design Engineering (DDE) Consultant for Rotating equipment activities and deliverables to ensure project quality, schedule and cost objectives are met. Provide engineering support for yard material procurement, construction engineering, testing, pre-commissioning, offshore hook-up, and commissioning. Any other duties as reasonably directed by your Supervisor or Manager. Requirements: Candidate must possess minimum of Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons.) from a recognized University or equivalent to the related field. Minimum of 18 years\' experience in Oil and Gas with at least 12 years of offshore Rotating equipment and Turbomachinery engineering design experience, project development, construction, and hook-up & commissioning experience, preferably in a client (Operator) organization. Registered Mechanical Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or equivalent, preferably a Professional Engineer with BEM or equivalent. Experienced as Lead Rotating Equipment Engineering role(s) in all development stages i.e. Conceptual Design, FEED, detailed design engineering (DDE), Rotating equipment procurement, construction engineering and commissioning, start up support and warranty claims management support. Exposure and experience in operation & maintenance is advantageous. Familiar and knowledgeable in engineering design codes and standards such as international codes and standard especially API 610, API 674, API 675, API 676, API 671, API 672, API 682, API 685, API 614, API 613, API 617, API 616, API 619, API 618, API 11P, NFPA 20, ASME PTC 10, ASME PTC 22, etc. Familiar and knowledgeable in COMPANY design codes and standards such as PETRONAS Technical Standard, Shell DEP, etc. Experienced in preparation of Compressor Selection and Optimization Study report, Power Generation Selection and Optimization Study report, Pump Selection and Optimization Study, etc. Experienced in Vibration and Vibro-Acoustic Analysis study report. Experienced in design, installation, commissioning and start-up of major turbomachinery and large rotating equipment\'s. Experienced dealing with reputable industrial and aeroderivative gas turbines OEM\'s such Siemens (SGT 100,300, RB211, etc.), Solar Turbines (Saturn 20, Centaur 40/50, Taurus 60/70, Mars 90/100, Titan 130 and BHGE (LM2500 Base, LM2500+, LM2500+G4, PGT 25, PGT 25+, PGT25+G4 and LM6000), etc. Experienced dealing with reputable centrifugal, reciprocating and rotary screw process gas compressors (Electric Motor Driven and Gas Turbine Driven) OEM\'s such as Siemens (Datum - Dresser-Rand, Siemen - SVT), Solar Turbines and BHGE (GE Oil & Gas), Kawasaki Compressor, ManTurbo, etc. Experienced dealing with reputable turboexpanders OEM\'s such as BHGE, Atlas Copco, etc. Experienced with mechanical seal selection, dry gas seal selection and material suitability selection. Familiar with Bently Nevada 3500/1701 Monitoring, Allen Bradley PLC, Solar Turbines TT4000/5000 controller, GE Mark VI, CCC Controller, field instruments and etc. Experienced in multidiscipline engineering project execution and large rotating equipment/turbomachinery as follows: Gas Turbine Compressor. Gas Turbine Generator. Turbo-expanders. Essential/Emergency Diesel Generator. Gas Engine Generator. Micro-Turbines. Fire Water Pumps Package. Utility and Hydrocarbon Pumps. Ability to manage and coordinate the input of multiple parties to a single goal. Works as a team player; Demonstrates a \'can do\' attitude. Capability to lead meetings, make decisions and communicate them in a structured and timely manner. Computer literate (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
