WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Design and implement Azure data pipelines including compute, network, storage, monitoring, and security facets.
• Integrate, transform, and consolidate data from various structured and unstructured data systems into a common data analytics solution.

• Support business processes by transforming raw application data into valuable KPI metrics
• Participates in cross-functional projects and team collaboration
• Troubleshoot and support system bugs and incidents
• Identify and recommend enhancements to optimize performance and adapt to fluid business requirements
• Develops and maintains process-related documentation
• Participates in knowledge transfers of system designs and procedures
• Follow Information Technology policies and industry best practices
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

Education:

• Bachelor's degree Information Technology/Systems, or Engineering or Business-related degree majoring in computing systems

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of in-depth work experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing with Azure Cloud
• Proven knowledge of data pipeline development with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Analysis Services and Azure Data Lake
• Highly skilled in relational and dimensional data modeling
• Comfortable writing scripts, queries and automation using SQL
• Expertise with Data Integrations and message protocols (REST API, XML, JSON etc.)
• Strong understanding of DevOps best practices, including deployment automation, continuous integration, and on-demand virtual environment provisioning
• Completion of a related technical post-secondary diploma/degree
• Development experience on building integration flows between SAP and MS Azure cloud platform
• Knowledge on SAP FICO, MM
• SAP ABAP development skill plus SQL DB, MS SQL

Practical Skills/Abilities:

• Possess good analytical, communication, presentation, and soft skills
• Sound skills and hands on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, SQL Data Warehouse Azure Blob, Azure Storage Explorer
• Extensive experience in Datawarehouse development using SAP, MS SQL and Azure Synapse tools
• Understand business requirements in Analytics context and design meaningful dashboards and data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
• Good understanding of SQL
• Experience working with SAP data sources (SAP S4, SAP BW and SAP HANA)
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Experience working with end users for testing and training
• Good understanding of latest trends in Data Management and Analytics
• Able to communicate well in English
• Able to write clearly and work within deadlines
• Able to work extended hours when necessary
• Possess personal attributes such as diligent, meticulous, tactful interpersonal skills, professional integrity and initiative
• Keen to learn, a team player and have good working attitude
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) skills
