Key Responsibilities Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules for banking application testing. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to align testing activities with project timelines. Test Leadership Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance on testing best practices and methodologies. Coordinate and distribute testing tasks based on team members\' strengths and project requirements. Test Design And Execution Design and execute test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing. Oversee and participate in the execution of test scripts, ensuring thorough coverage of application features. Test Automation Drive the implementation and enhancement of test automation frameworks. Collaborate with automation engineers to automate repetitive and critical test scenarios. Defect Management Manage the defect lifecycle, from identification and logging to resolution and verification. Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and address critical issues. Performance Testing Plan and execute performance testing to assess the scalability and reliability of banking applications. Analyze performance test results and recommend optimizations as needed. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies and tools. Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process. Reporting And Documentation Prepare and communicate test progress reports to project stakeholders. Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Lead Tester or in a similar testing leadership role within the banking industry. In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks. Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
