Job Description

City University Malaysia is seeking a dynamic and proactive

Learning & Development Executive

to support the university's mission in expanding its professional training arm. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and securing external clients to participate in or collaborate on our training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in business development within the education and training sector, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with HRD Corp procedures and grant applications.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Business Development & Client Engagement



Identify, promote, and engage potential clients to participate in City University's professional training and development programs through active marketing, outreach, and partnership activities. Prepare training proposals, quotations, and program outlines tailored to client needs.

2. HRD Corp & Grant Coordination



Manage HRD Corp grant applications, claims, and compliance documentation. Ensure training programs meet HRD Corp requirements and maintain accurate recordkeeping. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on HRD Corp-related matters.

3. Training Coordination



Collaborate with internal trainers, lecturers, and faculty members to organize customized training programs. Coordinate all logistics for training sessions, including venue arrangements, materials preparation, and participant registration. Monitor training effectiveness and collect feedback for continuous improvement.

4. Marketing & Outreach



Work closely with the marketing team to promote training programs via digital channels and corporate networks. Represent the university in education fairs, HRD Corp events, and networking sessions. Maintain an updated client database and follow up on leads to convert them into confirmed participants.

Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree in

Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Education

, or a related field. At least

1-3 years of experience

in

training coordination, business development, or corporate sales

. Knowledge and hands-on experience with

HRD Corp grant application and claims process

. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Good command of

English and Bahasa Malaysia

, both written and spoken. Highly organized, self-driven, and results-oriented with a passion for learning and development.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 per month
