About the Role



We are seeking an experienced and strategic

Learning & Development (L&D) Manager

to lead all employee development, capability-building, and talent growth initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong corporate L&D experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to design and deliver impactful training programs for a large and diverse workforce.

, ensuring training initiatives support business goals and organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities1. Learning Needs Analysis & Planning



Assess training needs using performance reviews, surveys, feedback, and skill gap analysis. Identify learning priorities aligned with business strategies and workforce development plans.

2. Designing & Delivering Learning Programs



Develop structured training programs, workshops, virtual sessions, and blended learning formats. Lead sessions for soft skills, technical, safety, and leadership training (as required by business units).

3. Learning Content Development



Create and curate learning resources such as toolkits, job aids, manuals, and e-learning modules. Work with SMEs to design high-impact, competency-based content.

4. Learning Management System (LMS) Oversight



Manage LMS operations, training records, course creation, and reporting. Ensure accurate tracking, scheduling, and compliance with internal audit requirements.

5. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement



Monitor training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance indicators. Implement improvements using data, global L&D trends, and industry best practices.

6. Onboarding & Capability Development



Strengthen onboarding frameworks to accelerate learning for new employees. Support early-career development pathways and employee upskilling frameworks.

7. Leadership & Talent Development



Design and execute leadership development programs to build future leaders. Advise managers on coaching, mentoring, and performance improvement.

8. Promote a Learning Culture



Champion continuous learning, accessibility, and career-aligned growth across the organization. Run engagement initiatives to motivate employees to participate in development programs.

9. Stakeholder Collaboration



Partner with HR, managers, and senior leaders to align initiatives with organizational goals. Present L&D plans, effectiveness reports, and capability insights to management.

10. Stay Updated on L&D Trends



Explore innovative L&D solutions such as microlearning, AI tools, and personalized learning. Benchmark against modern corporate training practices to keep programs relevant.

Requirements



Bachelor's Degree in HR, Education, Psychology, Business, or related field.

5-10 years of experience

in Learning & Development within corporate or industrial environments. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and competency frameworks. Hands-on experience designing and delivering training programs. Familiarity with

LMS platforms, digital learning tools

, and instructional design methods. Strong communication and facilitation skills (English, Malay; Mandarin is an added advantage). Ability to conduct surveys, performance reviews, interviews, and skill gap assessments. Excellent stakeholder management, project execution, and time management skills. Experience supporting leadership development programs is highly preferred.
