About You

You will be responsible for the delivery of the lessons both theoretical and practical for all programmes in CARSOME Academy. You will be planning the timetable and the arrangement of lecturers to make sure the conduct of classes can be performed smoothly. Also, you are required to monitor the quality of lecturers and report any issues occurred during or after the classes. You are required to arrange or conduct ad hoc trainings from time to time for the external parties. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop new programmes as required by CARSOME Academy in order to improve the marketability of the programmes and also long-term plan for programme improvement to make sure the content is according to the current market needs.

Your Day-to-Day

• Perform the class observation, WIM review, lesson plan verification, assessment review, training for lecturers.
• Preparation of reports related to student performance, programme development progress, ad hoc projects with the external party.
• Prepare timetable, weekly report and timeline for project
• Prepare lesson Plan (LP) and deliver lesson to student
• Assist for student portfolio preparation and the conduct of PPL and attend PPL session if necessary.
• Planning and monitoring of implementation of the lesson within the Academy.
• Dealing with lecturer or staff matters that fall within the department of the Academy.
• Creating a supportive working environment for all staff in the department and fostering their career development.
• Ensuring that staff review and development is completed in a timely manner. Completing probation reviews with all newly appointed lecturer in line with the CARSOME\'s Probation Guidelines.

• Degree or higher in automotive related programme with VTO (Vocational Training Officer), Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in automotive related programme is preferred
• More than 6 years of working experience in a related industry, education as a lecturer and program coordinator.
• Skills: Planning, Management, Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET), VTO (Vocational Training Officer) and Research.
• Full knowledge of end-to-end learning journey in the academy.
