The role requires an academic who can make a meaningful and nationally recognized contribution to their discipline. Through research and/or scholarship, the candidate will generate original work that advances knowledge or professional practice within the field. The individual must also demonstrate subject expertise, leadership, and the ability to effectively coordinate academic programmes.
Key contributions will include:
Teaching, scholarship, and administrative duties within a department or across interdisciplinary fields at undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate levels.
Providing leadership and actively engaging in scholarly, research, and/or professional activities relevant to the discipline, profession, or broader community.
Producing original research or scholarly work that contributes significantly to advancing knowledge at the national or higher level.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
PhD in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Professional Quantity Surveying (PQS) or Consultant Quantity Surveying (CQS) credentials will be an added advantage.
Demonstrated track record of substantial research output with significant academic or professional impact.
Proven expertise and extensive professional experience in Quantity Surveying.
Proficiency in industry-relevant software and technology is an added advantage.
Experience in teaching or training in higher education within a relevant discipline.
Active participation in professional organizations or societies related to Quantity Surveying is desirable.
