• Oversee the operation of the legal department.
• Provide legal guidance on a wide range of legal matters such as contracts, regulatory compliance, litigation, intellectual property, corporate governance, etc.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Develop and implement legal procedures and policies to ensure the company\'s compliance with applicable laws.
• Draft, negotiate and vet contracts, legal documents and agreements.
• Conduct legal research to ensure the company is up-to-date with the latest legal changes.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, working with outside counsel when required.
• Work with regional legal representatives.

The ideal Legal Director will be confident in leading from the front and be responsible for the growth of the company while possessing the below requirements;

• Bachelor\'s degree in law or a related field acquired from an accredited institution.
• More than 15 years of progressive legal experience, including significant experience in leadership or managerial roles.
• In-depth legal expertise, legal principles and practices and knowledgeable in the realm of contract law, intellectual property and litigation.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with an ability to communicate in an assertive and clear manner.
• Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills, have the ability to assess and understand complex legal issues, and provide strategic advice.
• A leader in ethics, integrity, diversity and inclusion.
• Excellent business acumen in regard to understanding business operation and able to provide legal advice aligned with business strategy.
