Responsibilities

- Drafting and reviewing on wide range of legal agreements and policies, including IT agreements, services agreements, collaboration agreements and insurance related policies and documents

- Carrying out legal research in relation to legal issues arising from legal agreements/documents and business operations

- Providing legal solutions to management and stakeholders, including advising on legal risks, contractual obligations and strategies to enable overall attainment of business goals

- Advising the business on updates and development in the law

- Any other duties of an in-house counsel

Requirements

- Bachelor of Laws (LLB), or equivalent LLB qualifications from local or overseas higher learning institutions

- 3 years of PQE onwards

- Experience in corporate and commercial matters

- Experience in insurance business and drafting of insurance agreements is not a prerequisite but an additional advantage

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

- Meticulous and capable in managing multiple stakeholders

- A team player, resourceful and able to work with minimal supervision
