Job Description
A legal manager role for a massive public listed organisation. Handling all legal matters for the organisation. You will be responsible for all contracts and legal advisory for the business
- Develop, direct, control, analyze and review legal framework and strategies that are aligned to the company\'s business activities and safeguarding its interests.
- Draft, review, vet and attend to documentations in relation to the Core Legal Services to ensure that any legal and binding contract(s) and other documentations to be entered by the Group will have minimum and acceptable level(s) of legal risks.
- Lead negotiations to protect the company\'s interests at all times.
- Team lead in all assigned legal work and drive execution on action plans as approved.
- Collaborate with external appointed legal firms/panel lawyers that provide legal documentation, verification, registration, advisory and litigation services to ensure that the company\'s requirements are achieved.
- Drive creative legal dispute management solutions.
- Lead/manage any other tasks assigned related to the job from time to time.
As a pivotal member of the team, you will be required to have a sharp attention to detail and a broad understanding of legislation and terminology within the Oil & Gas space. Detailed requirements include:
- Having at least 10 years of experiences as legal practitioner in a law firm or in-house corporate lawyer.
- Possess legal managerial experiences.
- Experience in oil and gas industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Lead and manage legal drafting of commercial and procurement contracts will be an added advantage
