LEGO Production Quality Control Coordinator

Bringing LEGO\xc2\xae models to life with light, sound, and movement is something our dedicated team of LEGO Designers, Builders, and Technicians do every day for LEGOLAND Parks, LEGOLAND Discovery Centers, and more across the world.

Our Merlin Studio in Malaysia is looking for a proactive LEGO Production Quality Control Coordinator to join their LEGO Model Production team.

About the Role...

As LEGO Production Quality Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard output for LEGO Model Production by implementing quality standards and testing procedures. You will uphold the safety regulations and supervise the production process to guarantee that LEGO Model meet customer and Merlin quality expectations. Key objectives include:

• Improving the quality of finished product, reducing rework and eliminating repeated mistakes to reduce LEGO waste and maintaining the quality process.
• Reducing unproductive activity and improving data support for decision making.
• Providing logical, effective and efficient documentation for the Management System, processes and activities.
• Providing advice to define functions, responsibilities and clearly define projects and agreements.
• Making LEGO Model Production profitable on a long-term basis and develop additional market opportunities to increase customers\' perception of our professionalism.
• Complying with our Best Practice requirements in an auditable system.

About You...

• Proven experience within a quality control / assurance role, ideally coupled with a Bachelor\'s degree in an engineering or related field.
• Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic mathematical arithmetic.

• Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills.
• Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Experience in build and installation.
• Basic knowledge of coating and basic SFX Build, involvement in packaging with good project management experience.
• Able to read engineering and CAD drawings.
• Strong in data analysis and data reporting.
• We are looking for a detailed orientated individual who possesses strong time management and a self-motivated mentality. You will naturally strive to achieve the best possible product. You will also have cultural awareness for other countries outside Malaysia as we deliver more content across the globe.
