We are looking for an experienced

Linux/Unix System Engineer

to manage and support our enterprise server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

RHEL, Unix, Solaris

, advanced system administration,

Veritas Cluster Services (VCS)

, and

Shell/Perl scripting

.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Linux/Unix/Solaris server environments. Perform system upgrades, patching, and OS hardening. Configure and support

Veritas Cluster Services (VCS)

and other HA solutions. Troubleshoot complex OS-level issues and perform deep-dive analysis. Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis (RCA). Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell/Perl. Implement security measures and ensure compliance standards. Contribute to capacity planning and infrastructure design.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with

RHEL, Unix, Solaris

. Expertise in

Linux/Unix system administration

. Good understanding of

VCS / High Availability

. Strong in

Shell scripting

; knowledge of Perl is a plus. Experience in troubleshooting, patching, performance tuning. Knowledge of security controls and server hardening.

Preferred Qualifications

RHCE or relevant Linux certifications. Experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments. Exposure to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
