Job Description


  • To understand and implement Quality & Food Safety Management System.
  • To understand and implement Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994.
  • Responsible to check work assignment at Duty Room before commencing daily duties
  • Ensuring safe working practices for all persons under their supervision are understood and followed.
  • Compliance to Standard Operating Procedures and Business Process activities.
  • Comply with 4 stops before approaching the aircraft.
  • Cleanliness of hi-lift cockpit and cabin at all times.
  • Compliance to Ramp Safety Procedures.
  • Before driving any vehicles ensure to fill in the \'Pre-Trip Checklist\xe2\x80\x99.
  • Responsible and accountable to perform other duties as assigned by Duty Officer. To follow daily job sheet.
  • Responsible and accountable to perform loading / unloading cum equipment Operator duties.
  • Responsible to drive catering vehicle (hi-lift and van) internal and external.
  • Compliance to do loading / offloading catering items and operate hi-lift operating panel in hi-lift cabin.
  • Responsible to ensure all catering Equipment / Meal Carts etc. are in correct position in the Hi-Lift and securely fastened prior dispatch.
  • Responsible to handle IFS equipment\xe2\x80\x99s / meals and segregate according to airlines at ware wash area after equipment back from aircraft.
  • Responsible to check any defect on aircraft body before hi-lift being raised up/down.
  • Immediate report to superior on any discrepancies hi-lift defect found on the hi-lift before, after or while operating.
  • To reject any hi-lift found with no go items. Immediately report to Maintenance Officer if there is any discrepancy for maintenance action.
  • To possess and ensure valid permits and passes for daily work task use at Apron site. Responsible to check and renew all permits before expiring date.

  • Malaysia Airports Identification Card
  • RIMV "D\xe2\x80\x99\xe2\x80\x99 or "E" Driving License
  • Direct involve with lean, productivity and cost monitoring.
  • Never open or closed the aircraft door without permission from operating crew or airlines representatives.
