• Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in any relevant field of study.
• Proven working experience in a managerial position.
• Record of successful distribution and logistics fleet management including Import Export Sea freight.
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
• Excellent skill in management, coaching and provide training for direct reports.
• Proficient in MS Dynamic 365 and logistics software (SAP)
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
• A self-starter that able to work independently and handle multiple projects.
• Willingness to be based in Petaling Jaya. The role would also require certain amount of travel to company warehouse located in Kapar, Klang.

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall inbound and outbound activities. Logistics Manager responsibilities include Fleet Management, Import and Export Management including custom and CIDB handling. You are also responsible in overall logistics efficiency improvement activities and reducing transportation cost in totality. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage logistics function to ensure high customers satisfactory. We emphasize on customer experience.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate inbound and outbound cycle including custom affair, dealing with CIDB import procedures and etc.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints pertaining to logistics matter. Problem solving skills is a must.
• Supervise, coach and train logistic workforce
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws and regulations
