Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
Planning, sourcing, purchasing, storing, and controlling the movement of all necessary items (materials, tools, heavy machinery) to, through, and from the site.
Schedule deliveries in accordance with project timelines and site constraints.
Liaise with suppliers, transporters, subcontractors, and site teams.
Managing site facilities, coordinating deliveries for specific phases, and ensuring smooth transitions.
Ensure materials are delivered to correct locations and handled properly on site.
Prepare and verify logistics documents such as Delivery Orders (DO), Purchase Orders (PO), and material delivery records.
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
Assist in sourcing transport services and comparing quotations.
Ensure all logistics activities comply with site safety rules and regulations.
Coordinate safe loading, unloading, and storage of materials on site.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum
1-3 years
of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations inconstruction industry.
Strong organizational and time management skills Good coordination and communication skills (verbal and written) Detail-oriented and accurate in documentation Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently Problem-solving mindset and good decision-making skillsJob Type: Contract
