LOCATION: KUCHAI LAMA, OLD KLANG ROAD

Role Summary

To manage the complete lifecycle of our product movement, ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain from international suppliers to our end customers. This pivotal role involves coordinating directly with international suppliers, managing inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring flawless last-mile delivery. The ideal candidate is a pragmatic problem-solver who will be the central point of communication for all logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities

1) End-to-End Logistics Management:

Coordinate the entire logistics process from supplier pickup to final customer delivery. Liaise directly with including, but not limited to China suppliers, managing schedules, pickups, and initial documentation. Arrange and manage international freight (air/sea) and domestic transportation. Track shipments proactively and provide timely updates to stakeholders and/or customers. Handle any issues or delays that arise during transit, implementing effective solutions.

2) Documentation & Administration:

Verify and manage essential logistics documents that are in place including Purchase Orders (POs), Supplier Invoices, Delivery Orders (DOs), Packing Lists etc. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Assist in basic inventory management and cycle counts.

3) Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese suppliers, freight forwarders, requiring fluent and professional communication in Chinese (both written and spoken). Communicate effectively with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service), local freight forwarders, warehouse staff, and end customers mainly in Malay and English.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar logistics coordination role, preferably with exposure to international shipping (especially China-SEA routes).

Fluency in English, Malay and Mandarin Chinese.

(Mandarin is critical for supplier negotiations and issue resolution). Proven hands-on experience in arranging freight and domestic courier services. Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Words and experience with accounting software e.g., SQL is an advantage. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
