Responsible for coordinating daily logistics operations, managing customer orders, and supporting sales activities. This role ensures smooth order processing, shipment coordination, and customer satisfaction while contributing to company sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments (sea, air, or land).
Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Prepare shipping documents such as delivery orders, invoices, packing lists, permits, and customs forms.
Track shipments and update customers and internal teams on delivery status.
Ensure all logistics operations comply with company policies, customs regulations, and safety standards.
Handle import/export documentation and liaise with relevant government agencies (e.g., MAQIS, Customs, MITI, etc.) when required.
Maintain records of logistics transactions, transport costs, and shipment performance.
Support inventory management by coordinating stock movements and verifying stock levels.
Handle customer inquiries, quotations, and order processing via phone, email, or walk-in.
Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and supporting documents accurately and promptly.
Follow up with customers on quotations, orders, and payments.
Maintain updated customer databases, sales reports, and pipeline tracking.
Build and maintain good relationships with customers through excellent service and communication.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Education:
Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in logistics coordination or customer service (preferably in import/export).
3. Technical Skills:
Knowledge of shipping documentation, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
Familiar with logistics software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Basic understanding of sales and order management processes.
4. Language Proficiency:
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English (3rd Language is an added advantage).
5. Soft Skills:
Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multitask under pressure.
Positive attitude with teamwork spirit and customer-oriented mindset.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
