Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Basic understanding of ocean freight operations, including LCL and FCL shipments.
• Familiarity with cross-border transportation processes and documentation requirements.
• Ability to coordinate transportation activities and manage documentation efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to the fast-paced logistics industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage ocean freight shipments (LCL/FCL) from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Handle cross-border land transportation arrangements, including documentation, customs clearance, and coordination with transportation providers.
• Prepare and process all necessary import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and requirements.
• Communicate and negotiate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers to secure competitive rates and optimal service levels.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively address any delays, issues, or discrepancies that may arise during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking information, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and keeping clients informed of shipment status.
