Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Intern

to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Assist in planning and arranging international shipments to ensure timely delivery. Prepare shipping and customs documents in compliance with regulations. Work closely with freight partners, forwarding agents, and internal teams to coordinate logistics activities. Support the Shipping Manager with sea freight import/export operations, including booking shipments, trucking, and delivery coordination. Monitor and update container movement planning to optimize logistics flow. Handle and maintain shipping documents (e.g., K1, K2) for import and export clearance. Verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition. Assist in container loading planning by calculating product fit (cartons/pallets) for 20ft and 40ft containers. Track shipment status, resolve delays, and communicate updates to relevant teams. Liaise with shipping lines, forwarding agents, customers, and authorities for smooth clearance. Maintain organized shipping and inventory records using Excel and inventory management systems. Support periodic stock counts and audits. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a

Degree in Business Management, Logistics and Supply chain or related field

(preference will be given to degree students). Preference will be given to

candidates with strong English communication skills

. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software is an advantage. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
