Working location: Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam Working hour: 8.30-5.30pm Lunch Hour: 12-1.30pm Duties and Responsibilities: In charge to coordinate and arranging shipments for export sales and import cargoes In charge of procurement and sourcing for reliable service providers with competitive rates In charge to liaise, negotiation with freight forwarder to file reduction of certain charges in order to fulfil customer needs. In charge to assign shipments task to subordinates and to monitor work function of subordinates. Also to identify the training needs of subordinates In charge to plan internal truck transportation of local delivery & collection. Monitoring internal driver staff and truck on road regulation. Plan & monitor factory production for export shipment arrangement. Monitor and evaluate cost & performance of external service providers such as freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporter & etc Develop/continually improve / producing new solution or standard operation working procedure. Problem solving for logistic issue arise. Conduct and monitor stock count to comply ISO. Qualifications: Logistics Degree or minimum of 4 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related areas Minimum of 3 years of experience in team management Familiar with international shipment of various materials Experience in handling with common couriers and customs preferred Experience in shipping and handling heavy machine industry is a plus Strong capabilities in troubleshooting and problem-solving Independent, reliable, responsible, collaborative, good judgement Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. Chinese speaking is a plus
