Beside that, YC also successfully kick off its IT solution company i.e. RabbitSend Solutions Sdn Bhd by launching its Super App in 2021 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager in Logistics for our Food & Beverage division to oversee the efficient transportation, distribution, and storage of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics operations within the food and beverage industry. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities: You are required to perform these job functions: Manage the warehouse and transport operations to ensure smooth daily operations and in accordance with company policies, system and related regulations. Analyse warehouse and delivery routing data to identify the opportunities of optimization and cost reduction. Ensure warehouse storage facilities, equipment, tools, and vehicles are in working good condition and well maintained. To monitor and report warehouse and transportation performance metric. Implement and maintain high standards of safety procedures, housekeeping practices in warehouse and transport operations. Implement contingency plans to address the issue of emergencies related to cold storage facilities and vehicles. Coach, support, develop and motivate teams to maintain high morale, uplift results and performance Establish professional and harmonious working relationships with both internal and external stake holders. Establish procedures and records to facilitate operation and historical tracking of warehouse and transport operations with respect to related policies and sustainability Develop and continuously improve performance of warehouse, transport and team in area of safety, quality, cost and operation efficiency. Qualifications: Proven experience in logistics management, preferably within the food and beverage industry. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, transportation regulations, and inventory management techniques. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in logistics software and tools, such as ERP systems, TMS, and warehouse management systems. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Commitment to upholding high standards of quality, safety, and compliance in all logistics operations.
