JOB TITLE: Logistics Manager REPORTS TO: GM DATE: 28/02/2023 POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible provide leadership and supervision to the Logistics functions which including Warehousing for FG - Finished Goods/ Shipping Management, Import / Export and Traffic Management, and JIT Hub Management, primarily responsible for compliance with the internal coordination, driving material replenishment strategies and processes to production at reasonable cost and in accordance with the established Tactical Materials, Supply Chain Management, and Lean Manufacturing Guidelines. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Define and create the function procedure and process, do the plan and set the goal and target for department. 2. Organization chart creation and do the related budget for Logistics department. 3. Have full knowledge of Customs and CIQ for the regulations and requirements in business scope. 4. Coordinate with related internally to ensure compliance on the import and export activity and related procedures and process created. 5. Manage and monitor the daily import and export operations. 6. Good communication with Customs, and feedback any new requirement as well follow up closely. 7. Supporting the followingwith internal control to do the internal audit for import and export, achieve to get on the highest credit level in Customs. 8. Manage and monitor the daily operation in FG warehouse which including FG receiving / packing and cycle counting process to ensure FG stock is available for customers/end-user with right time/ QTY / quality / cost etc. 9. Based on the shipping request to work with Planning and CA as well Freight Forwarders to arrange the daily shipment with the right time/ QTY / quality / cost etc. 10. Monitor and coordinate with 3PL to improve on local logistics flow smoothly, efficiency and cost-saving continuously. 11. Indirect material planning and control to ensure indirect material replenishment with right time/ QTY / quality / cost etc. 12. Monitor the system flow and transactions, keep improve the system flow more efficiency. 13. As necessary, provide hands-on management to resolve major issues impacting customers or cross- functional conflicts of priorities. 14. Hire, terminate, develop, evaluate, motivate and performance review for the members of Logistics team. 15. Staff training and development. 16. Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies, and general duty of care 17. Other duties as assigned, such as managing schedule and non-schedule Waste, physically, documentations preparation and declaration to customs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: 1. Works in a standard office environment and used the general office equipment. 2. Travels to off-site offices, Customs offices and governmental agencies. 3. Out working may be necessary in times of need. SKILLS: 1. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. 2. Prefer EDI in Customs. 3. Good knowledge of Standard International Customs law and regulation. 4. In depth knowledge about incoterm. 5. Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems 6. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods 7. Good organizational and time management skills 8. Current forklift license 9. Understanding SAP operation process for Receiving/Issuing/Import and Export 10. Strong hands-on experience in Inco term management & implementation and contract management 11. Experience in developing strategic logistics / trade solutions (FTZ/FTA) and working with international custom brokers 12. Extensive knowledge in industry best practices (Warehousing / Logistics / Transportation /Trade Zones 13. Highly competent communicator who can successfully interact with cross functional teams, sponsors, management, and business partners 14. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills 15. EDI declaration training 16. Good at PC operation in windows and China Customs EDI system. EXPERIENCE: Essential: 1. Minimum of 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience across logistics, trade compliance, air freight, transportation, and warehousing or related experience is required. 2. Experience with Materials Requirements Planning, Just in Time and Declaration systems is preferred. 3. Experience in License Manufacturing Warehouse reporting style Monthly and Yearly for all area. 4.Experience in handling e-waste and custom declaration. Desirable: Related experience in electronic manufacturing. EDUCATION: Essential: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Logistics Management or related field. Desirable: National Customs Declaration Certification. Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM9,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month Benefits:
