Job description
Our client is one of the leading companies when it comes to the logistics industry. Due to expansion plans, they are currently looking for a Logistics Operation Manager to join their growing company. This role will be based in Penang Island.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with forwarders, transporters, vendors and warehouses to ensure the accurate delivery of goods
- Sourcing and negotiating the transportation prices for movement of materials and shipments locally and internationally via various modes of transport like air or sea freight
- Responsible for verifying all shipping documentations and preparation of documents for duty exemptions
- Knowledge in Air & Sea Freight Forwarding is a MUST!
- Bachelor\'s Degree in either Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation or relevant
- 10 years of relevant work experience within the Logistics or Transportation space
- Mandarin language in an added advantage
